The Greenwood baseball team saw their season come to end on Monday afternoon, falling to Rosholt 6-1 in a Division 4 State Semi-Final in Appleton.

Rosholt took early 1-0 in the first and then scored 4 more in the second inning to go up 5-0.  Greenwood could get nothing going on offense against senior right hander Issac Cychosz of the Hornets.  He struck out 5 of the first Greenwood batters he faced.  The Indians got their first hit in the 3rd inning on a one out single by Dakota Clark.  Clark however would get picked off first.  Xander Hinker led off the 4th inning reaching on an error,  but he was also picked off first by Cychosz.

In the top of the 7th, Greenwood got on the scoreboard.  Xander Hinker walked, then advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt from Westen Schmitz.  Hinker then scored on an RBI double by Cooper Bredlau.
