Neillsville Girls Advance To Regional Final/Other Area Scores

The Neillsville girls basketball team played a stingy defense, forcing numerous turnovers in a 48-28 win over Luther in a Division 4 Regional Semi-Final on Friday night in Neillsville.  The Warriors (21-4) led 25-10 at the half and outscored the Knights (13-13) 23-18 in the second to secure the win.  Neillsville was led by Paris Opelt with a game high 14 points.  Madi Davel added 12.  The Warriors will now play in the Regional Final on Saturday night vs. Auburndale at the Fieldhouse in Neillsville.  Game time is 7pm.  You can hear all the action live on 92.7 FM WPKG.
