From The CWB Motorsports Garage...

Skylar Melvin of Neillsville was in action on his motorcycle this weekend.  

Saturday was the first day of the Southern Cup and was held at Sugar Maple MX in Hill Point wi.  Skylar took home a 5th in 250b and a 2nd in schoolboy where he got the holeshot in the 1st schoolboy moto of the day. The second day of the Southern Cup was held at the Aztalan Cycle Club in Lake Mills wi where Skylar took home a 2nd in 250b and a 3rd in schoolboy.

So for the 2 day Southern Cup overall he ended up with a 1st in 250b and a 2nd in schoolboy. 

Bryce Backus from Neillsville came down for day 2 and took home 1st in masters +25 A and 2nd in open A.

The Upper Midwest Vintage Racing Series presented by RKI Trucking of Loyal made a stop at Marshfield Motor Speedway for the 2nd annual running of the John Brevik Classic Memorial race.this past Saturday. Heat races went to Roger Peterson and Dan Linnehan, with Linnehan also taking the feature event by a bumper in an exciting close finish over Sean Herzog. 

Next stop on the Upper Midwest schedule is July 23rd at LaCrosse Speedway for a fairtime special..presented by ToyBox Rides.
