Neillsville Rec. Department Holds T- Ball Awards Picnic

The Neillsville Recreation Department held their annual T-Ball Awards Picnic on Wednesday, July 21st at the school softball diamonds. All boys who participated in the program received certificates. Teams and their honored players included:

Wolverines:  Reed & Liam Friemoth, Gavin Simpson, Charlie Illbeck, Jackson Griepentrog, Jordan Waters & Miles Glassbrenner

Bulldogs:  Kage Davis, Jake Keller, Austin Bohman, Augie Anderson, Hunter Knoll, Aiden Luchterhand and Ashton Brown.

Gators:    Evin Dittner, Drew Fitzl, Ian Ochodnicky, Logan Friemoth, Ashton Walk & Tripp Laufenberg.

Tigers:  Jaeger Anding, Jett Hemp, Axel Kruschke, Blake Knudsen, Gordy Gaier & Ezra Allard.

Sun Devils: Grayson Boe, Brayden Kodl, Jase Johnson, Garret Ehlen, Lucas Luchterhand & Tuff Calkins.

Huskies:  Teigyn Osmond, Hayden Poeschel, Corbin Wirkuty, Benni Davis, Benjamin Mathis, Rylan Gray-Hensler & Rylen Hart.

The Neillsville Recreation Department would like to thank the volunteer coaches/instructors of the league: Josh Hemp, Rick Kruschke, Shawn Knudsen, Michael Gaier, Kevin Dittner, Kyle Friemoth, Brady Laufenberg, Steve Johnson, Nate Ehlen, Adam Luchterhand, Chris Keller, Luke Friemoth, Shawn Simpson, Chris Poeschel, Ken Wirkuty & Garth Davis. Their dedication and expertise was very much appreciated. 

Following the ceremony rootbeer floats, donated by the Neillsville A&W were enjoyed by all.

T-Ball is a baseball program for boys seven and eight years of age that stresses the fundamentals of the game with very little emphasis on winning and losing.
