Osseo-Fairchild and Altoona Take First in Cadott

Cloverbelt Conference golfers were in Cadott at Whispering Pines Golf Course for a match on Thursday. One group played the front nine, the other the back nine.Altoona took first in one group shooting a 173 as a team, 4 strokes better than Cadott. Neillsville finished 4th in this group shooting a 182. Gabby Curtis of Altoona was the medalist with a 39. Derek Krejci was low man for Neillsville with a 43.
In the other group, Osseo-Fairchild took first finishing with a 165 team score followed by Stanley-Boyd at 184. Owen-Withee/Greenwood finished 4th in this group with a 197. Osseo-Fairchild's Matt Sieg and Stanley-Boyd's Mathius Groan tied for medalist honors each shooting a 37.
