BIG TEN NETWORK ANNOUNCES FALL SCHEDULE

The Big Ten Network has released its schedule for the 2009 fall season and Wisconsin will be making at least six appearances across four different sports. Football, volleyball and men?s and women?s soccer will have games aired on the network either live or via tape delay throughout the fall season. 'Wisconsin's' coverage begins on Saturday, Sept. 5, as the Badgers open up the 2009 college football season with a home game against Northern Illinois. Game time is set for 6 p.m. and it will air live. The Wisconsin volleyball team will have two matches broadcast live on the network. Both of 'Wisconsin's' matches against Iowa this season will be showcased. The Hawkeyes come to the Field House on Wednesday, Sept. 23, for a match that will air live at 7 p.m. (CT). The Badgers make the return trip to Iowa City on Wednesday, Nov. 11, and that match will also air live at 7 p.m. (CT). The Big Ten Network will also be airing the 2009 Big Ten Men?s and Women?s Cross Country Championships. The events both take place onSunday, Nov. 1, at Penn State, but an air date is still to be determined.
