CHAPPARRALS DOWN THE MERCHANTS

The Marshfield Chaparrals improved to 13-9 with a 10-4 win over the Abbotsford Merchants last night at Jack Hackman Field in Marshfield. Kyle Schicker picked up the win going 7 innings, allowing 6 hits and striking out 10. Jay Soyk took the loss for the Merchants. Casey Krohn led the Chaparrals from the plate going 3 for 5 with 2 RBI's and 2 runs scored, Brad Grube was also 3 for 5 with a double and 2 runs scored.
