EXPRESS SWEEP GREEN BAY

The Eau Claire Express defeated Green Bay Bullfrogs for the second straight night. The Bullfrogs jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 2nd inning on a Riley Henricks home run, but that was the only miscue for Express pitcher Tyler Bremer. Bremer received the win after working seven complete innings giving up one run off four hits and walking only two. Jason Ganek pitched the 8th inning and Kole Calhoun slammed the door in the 9th. Eau Claire plated two runs to take the lead in the 6th and added some insurance with another in the 8th. The Express's second half record improves to 7 and 12.Eau Claire travels to Battle Creek today to complete a game that started on June 19 that was suspended by thunderstorms tied at two, with Battle Creek up in the bottom of the ninth. They will pick up the action there at 5:05 PM CDT and then play tonight's regularly scheduled game.
