Varsho Is An American League Gold Glove Finalist

Marshfield's Daulton Varsho is a candidate for an American League Gold Glove Award for the 2023 season.

Daulton is one of three finalists for the Left Field Gold Glove Award.  He played left field and center field for the Toronto Blue Jays this season, and committed just one error in 323 total chances, for a fielding percentage of .997. 

Daulton primarily played left field for Toronto this season, although he is expected to move to center field next season, as the Blue Jays will likely allow Kevin Keirmaier to leave Toronto in free agency. 

The other left field Gold Glove award candidates in the American League are Austin Hays of Baltimore and Steven Kwan of Cleveland.

The 2023 Rawlings Gold Glove Award winners will be unveiled Sunday, Nov. 5th.
