Neillsville/Granton Football Team Clinches Playoff Spot/Football Playoff Qualifying Report

The Neillsville/Granton football team beat Osseo-Fairchild on Friday night 27-6 and with the win they clinched a spot in the playoffs for the first time since 2009.  With two games left in the regular season, the Warriors are tied with Regis and Mondovi atop the Cloverbelt Conference standings at 4-1 and they are 5-2 overall.  Neillsville/Granton will be at Carson Park in Eau Claire to take on Regis this Thursday night.

Regis also clinched a playoff spot on Friday after beating Stanley-Boyd as did Colby with a win over Marathon.

Through games played in Week Seven, 127 teams have clinched playoff spots.
