Summer Baseball/Softball Registration For The Neillsville Recreation Department

The Neillsville Recreation Department will be holding their youth “Summer” baseball and softball registration at City Hall (Rec. offices, 106 W. Division St.) on Friday, April 28th from 6:30-7:30 p.m. We will have programs for boys grades kindergarten-4th grade and girls grades kindergarten-7th grade. Play will begin in late May. (with retirement looming, I want to get the leagues set up before I leave)

Fee for participation is $15 per child or a maximum of $30 per family. If the 4/28 date doesn’t work for you, early registration is welcome, the offices are open Monday-Friday from 9:00-4:30. Deadline to register is 5/5.

Programs offered are:  for girls, kindergarten will play Dads & Lads, grades 1 & 2 will be in juniorette softball and grades 3-7 will be in various fastpitch leagues(10U, 12U & 14U. for the boys; kindergarten will play in Dads & Lads, 1st & 2nd graders will be in Tee-Ball and 3rd & 4th will play Little League if there is sufficient interest. (those 3rd & 4th graders currently playing Spring ball, can register after their early season has been completed.) The majority of the practice times are evening and usually twice a week.  No previous ball experience is necessary. The Rec. Dept. is also looking for coaches for all programs, we can work around your schedule! Please phone 743-2400 if you can help be a lead coach or just want to assist!
