Lowry Breaks Two Neillsville Indoor Track Records

Neillsville senior, Taytor Lowry broke two Neillsville indoor track records at the 23 Team Panther Indoor Boys Track Invitational at UW-Stevens Point on Saturday.

He broke the Neillsville indoor track record in the 800m run with a time of 2:04.65.  That time was good enough for 2nd at the meet on Saturday, finishing behind James Jacobs of Stevens Point, who had a time of 2:03.79.

Lowry also ran in the 1600m run on Saturday and finished 4th with a time of 4:46.10 which broke the Neillsville indoor mark by 12 seconds.

One note of interest.  Lowry was running against mostly Division 1 athletes at the meet on Saturday.  

Stevens Point won the team title with Kimberly taking second. Auburndale was 10th, Marshfield took 12th and Neillsville finished 13th.
