UW-Oshkosh head softball coach and Neillsville native, Scott Beyer earned his 200th career victory Sunday with a 9-0, five-inning win over The College of St. Scholastica (Minn.).
Beyer now has a 200-97 record in his ninth season with the Titans. He becomes the third UW-Oshkosh coach and 10th in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference history to reach 200 career wins. His .673 winning percentage, the best in UW-Oshkosh history, ranks third among WIAC coaches with at least 200 career wins.
UW-Oshkosh is currently ranked 12th in the NCAA Division III by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association after advancing to the World Series for the first time since 1988 last season. Beyer has continued UW-Oshkosh's string of 17 consecutive 20+ win full seasons that began in 2004.
