Neillsville Girls Are State Bound!

The Neillsville girls basketball team is heading back to the WIAA State Girls Basketball Championships for the first time since 2014 after a 48-42 Sectional Final win over Phillips on Saturday.

The Warriors found themselves trailing 31-18 at the half but then turned on the defense in the second half and outscored the Loggers 30-11 in the second the secure the win.  Emma Moseley led the way with 14 points.  Neillsville has now won 14 in a row as they improve to 26-2 on the season.  They will now play in a Division 4 State Semi-Final on Thursday night at the Resch Center in Green Bay.
