Brown Gets 1000th Career Point, Neillsville Advances

Neillsville junior Andrew Brown has led the Warriors all year long and on Tuesday night he scored his 1,000th career point as the Warriors topped Osseo-Fairchild 77-44 in a Division 4 Regional Quarterfinal.  

The Warriors were in control from the start getting out to a 41-18 halftime lead.  Brown, who needed 21 points to reach 1,000, had 12 in the first half.  The Warriors continued to dominate in the second half, led by Brown who scored his 1,000th career point with 11:00 minutes to go.  The game was stopped and he received a standing ovation from the fans.   Brown would finish with a game high 27 points and now has 1,006 career points.  Mason Roenz had 17 for Neillsville and Bryce Erickson added 10.  Jack Steinke led Osseo-Fairchild with 18 points.

Neillsville (18-7) now moves on to play Fall Creek in a Regional Semi-Final on Friday night at Fall Creek.  Game time is 7 pm.
