Chaparrals And Merchants Heading To WBA State Finals

The Marshfield Chaparrals and Osseo Merchants are both heading to the Wisconsin Baseball Association State Finals this weekend in Spooner and Hayward.12 teams from various leagues around the state are represented in the finals which begin on Friday and go thru Sunday. Games will be played at Larry Somerville Field in Hayward and Merchants Park in Spooner.
The Chaparrals beat the Everest Merchants on Sunday 4-3 to win the Dairyland League Championship and now both teams will represent that league in the Finals, while the Osseo Merchants and Eau Claire Bears will represent the Chippewa River Baseball League.
