Here results involving local racers from area tracks over the weekend....Friday night was Salute the Troops night at Golden Sands Speedway in Plover. Monte Gress of Neillsville, in the 107-5 Asphalt Rocket, started 5th and finished 10th in the Super Late Model race. Monte and his son Darek were at Marshfield Motor Speedway on Saturday night but no results from that one as of yet.
Mike Lichtfeld of Portage WI won the Late Model Feature Saturday Night at Dells Raceway Park in Wisconsin Dells in a side by side thriller to the end. CWB Motor Garage member and Point Leader Jesse Bernhagen in his #28 car finished in second with Zach Riddle of Oregon WI in third. Bernhagen is currently 4 points in front of Riddle in the points race.
