TUNDRA Series And Upper Midwest Vintage Racing Series Race At DRP

The TUNDRA Super Late Model Series and the Upper Midwest Vintage Racing Series both were in action on Saturday, July 4th at Dells Raceway Park in Wisconsin Dells...After an extended delay due to COVID-19 restrictions, the TUNDRA Super Late Model Series finally got their season started on the Fourth of July with the Tribute to Carl Wegner at Dells Raceway Park. A strong field of 26 cars made up for the late start to the season by putting on a show, with a familiar face back in victory lane.
Three-time TUNDRA champion and former ARCA Midwest Tour champion Dalton Zehr made his first start with the series since 2017 and passed Mike Lichtfield with just six laps to go to take the win. 107-5 Asphalt Rockets Darek and Monte Gress of Neillsville finished 23rd and 24th respectively.

The Upper Midwest Vintage Racing Series made their second stop of the season at Dells Raceway Park in Wisconsin Dells Saturday night July 4th. Thirteen cars from three states made the trip to race. Winner of the first heat was Dave Gawronski of Reedsburg. Second heat went to Pat Echlin of Dyer,Indiana. The feature went to Jim Kulseth of Rosemont,Minnesota, followed by Ken Baum of Appleton and third went to Darrell Paasch of Marshfield. The next stop for Upper Midwest Vintage is at LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway on July 18.
