Berry Has Hat Trick In Cranberry Cup

Black River Falls Co-op, led by a hat trick from Neillsville's Malachi Berry, skated to a 6-6 tie with Tomah/Sparta in the annual Cranberry Cup at Milt Lunda Arena on Friday night. The Tigers would eventually win the Cup on a shootout.

Berry's first goal came at 4:44 in the first period on an assist from Neillsville's Jonah Zoschke. His second goal came at 8:15 into the second period and again assisted by Jonah Zoschke. The third goal came just about two minutes later at 10:02 in the 2nd period on an assist from Nathan Johnson and Jake Zukowski. Cooper Peterson, Zoschke, and Karsten Hunter also scored goals for Black River Falls Co-op.

Goalie Cody Kuehl of Neillsville had 34 saves for the Tigers.
