Neillsville Girls Start Season With A Win

The Neillsville girls basketball team used a big second half to beat the Loyal Greyhounds on Friday night 42-17.In a sluggish first half, Neillsville led going into the locker 12-7. But the Warriors came out in the second half opening up a big lead and never looked back. The Warriors were led in the second half by Bella Opelt who scored 10 of her game high 14 points in the half and Kelly Barth who scored 9 of her 12 points in the second half. Neillsville outscored Loyal 30-10 in the second half. Remi Geiger led the Hounds with 7 points.
