Neillsville/Granton Advances To Regional Final With Win Over Stratford

The Neillsville/Granton girls softball collected 12 hits on their way to a 5-1 win over Stratford in a Division 3 Regional Semi-Final on Wednesday.The Warriors scored first in the 2nd inning after they loaded the bases, Bianca Fischer scored on a error by the third basemen.
Stratford scored their only run in the 3rd after Maddie Daul reached on a two base error and they scored on an RBI single by Paige Kolbeck.
Neillsville/Granton scored 3 runs in the 5th inning on 4 hits including a double by Baleigh Johnson and RBI singles by Kaelyn Krultz and Ellie Moseid. The Warriors scored another run in the sixth inning on an RBI single by Johnson.
Johnson and Krultz both collected 3 hits. Fischer and Moseid each had 2 hits. Krultz went the distance allowing 3 hits, striking out 5 and walking 4.
Neillsville/Granton will travel to Prescott on Friday for the Regional Final.
