Neillsville/Granton Sends 12 Individuals And 1 Relay Team To Sectionals

After competing in the Mosinee Regional on Monday, the Neillsville/Granton boys and girls track and field teams will send 12 individuals and 1 relay team to sectionals on Thursday in Colby.

Advancing for Neillsville/Granton: Joe Katcher - Discus, Karter Rueth - Pole Vault, Ethan Kranz and Alex King - Triple Jump, Kelly Barth and Kayla Oldham - 100m hurdles, Ethan Kranz - 110 Hurdles, Olivia Hanson - 400m Dash, Kelly Barth - 300m hurdles, Willow Eisfeldt - Pole Vault, Chloee Lowry - 1600m Run, Joe Anason - 800m Run and the Girls 4 X 200m Relay Team.


Other area Regional Track & Field results:
Division 1 - The Marshfield Tigers will be sending 14 individuals in 16 events and five relay teams to sectionals on Thursday after earning top-four finishes at the Wausau East regional on Monday. Stevens Point took first as a team for both the boys and girls. Marshfield finished 2nd as a team for the boys.

Division 3 @ Abbotsford - Greenwood’s Kelly Nielsen qualified for Sectionals in the long jump, 200m dash, and triple jump. Quintin Myers qualified in the 110 hurdles and the Indians also qualified 4 relay teams for Sectionals. Owen-Withee qualified 7 individuals for Sectionals. Thorp qualified 6 individuals including Molly Milliren who took first in the 200 and 400m dash and 2 relay teams for sectionals.
The Newman Regional was postponed until today - Auburndale, Columbus Catholic, Edgar, Loyal, Marathon, Newman Catholic, Pittsville and Spencer were a part of that regional.
