Men’s Class “B” Basketball Tourney Results

The Neillsville Recreation Department held their 38th, Annual Men’s Class “B” Basketball Tourney this past weekend at the Neillsville Fieldhouse.Eight teams competed in the day long event. Reigning as champion was ”Splash City“ of Eau Claire as they edged “Kribb High Basketball” of Marshfield in a highly contested ball game for the gold ball.
Placing third was “JBC Embroidery & Screen Printing” of Neillsville. Playing for the local squad were Adam Kren, Jason Kurth, Cody Roman, David Harder, Paul Miller, Bryce Backaus, Jeff Rachu & Tyler Johnson.
Placing fourth was “Davis Auto Sales” of Marshfield. In the consolation bracket “Nicolet Bank” of Medford took home the top honors as they edged the “Greatest Show” of Marshfield. Also participating in the tourney were “Marshfield Murda” & “Oil Exchange/Quick Lube” both of Marshfield.
A number of Neillsville High School alumni basketball players participated, making for a day of fun and reminiscing. Proceeds of the tournament go towards subsidizing youth sports at the Neillsville Recreation Department.
