Tri-Star Basketball Winners

The Optimist Club of Neillsville conducted their annual Tri-Star Basketball competition for boys and girls ages 8-13 on Friday, March 9th at the Neillsville Fieldhouse.Over 60 children participated with the top winners in each age category as follows:

Also competing and earning medals were these pre-eligible athletes: Karlee Morrell, Mason Walter, Keagan Ormond, Annalynn Wirkuty, Hadley Hare, Grayson Knoop, Lexi Bergemann, Max Koepp, Ali Shaw, Jax Wanish, & Camden Dillenbeck.
The event included competition in passing, dribbling and shooting skills. Each first place winner received a plaque, while all other participants received medals or ribbons. The first place winners in the local contest now have the opportunity to compete in the state Tri-Star competition held in Fond du Lac in April.
