Saturday, March 3rd, 2018 -- 7:56 PM

The Stratford Tigers won their second consecutive team title in Division 3 at the Fieldhouse in Madison on Saturday.

Stratford beat Fennimore in the championship match for the second consecutive year. The Tigers won all but three bouts in the match to post a 45-13 victory. Among their individual wins were pins by Hector Rojas at 220, A.J. Schoenfuss at 126 and Derek Marten at 138.

Stoughton won the Division 1 championship for the first time since the advent of dual-formated teamchampionships and its eighth overall. They placed runner-up in the team tournament five times, including the last three seasons. The Vikings defeated Holmen 31-29. They were led by back-to-back pins by Hunter Lewis at 120 and Braeden Whitehead at 126.

Luxemburg-Casco won its 12th team championship, which ranks second only to Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln’s 21 for the most team titles won. After finishing runner-up last year, the Spartans defeated two-time defending champion Ellsworth, 30-28 in the Division 2 Championship. Austin LeRoy and Nate Lloyd record pins at 195 and 220, respectively, to lead the Spartans.
