Neillsville Girls Advance to Regional Final

The Neillsville girls basketball team will play in the Regional Final on Saturday night after beating Abbotsford in the Regional Semi-Final 48-36 on Friday night...The Warriors used full court pressure to force a number of Abbotsford turnovers and led at the half 25-13 led by Ali Schoengarth with 7 points.
Both teams came out slow in the scoring column in the second half, as both teams scored 23 points as Neillsville hung on for the 12 point win.
The Falcon's Kallie Falteisek led all scorers with 14 points, Dylana Schreiner had 13 points. Lauren Mesar led the Warriors with 12 points, Schoengarth and Makayla Knuth added 9 points.
Neillsville (19-4) will now face the Colby Hornets at Colby in the Regional Final on Saturday. It will be the third time this season these two teams have played each other. Colby won the first two matchups. Game time on Saturday night is 7pm. You can hear it live on 92.7 FM WPKG.
