Neillsville Falls to Osseo-Fairchild

The Neillsville girls basketball team was beaten by Osseo-Fairchild 55-36 in the 2nd Place Crossover Playoff game on Saturday night.The Thunder (18-4) led the entire game including 28-19 at the half. In the second half, Neillsville was able to get as close as 6 and then Osseo-Fairchild took control and was able to beat Neillsville's press for layups. Megan Steinke led the attack in the second half for the Thunder with 15 of her game high 24 points. Brooke Frietag had 17 points while Sophiah Filla added 10 for Osseo-Fairchild.
Neillsville (17-4) was led by Bella Opelt and Samantha Cappadora, each with 10 points.
