Opelt Ranked No. 2 At 149 Pounds

Cornell College senior Phillip Opelt of Neillsville vaulted into the Top 10 for the first time at 149.Opelt (10-1) made a big splash in the rankings, climbing to No. 2 in the D3wrestle.com Poll. He's listed No. 4 in the NWCA rankings.
Opelt carries a five-match winning streak and he is 10-0 against Division III opponents this season.
The Lower Midwest Region Championships are Feb. 24-25 in Dubuque.
