Neillsville Boys Win 7th In A Row

The Neillsville boys basketball team won their 7th in a row, downing Melrose-Mindoro on Monday night 72-67 in overtime.The Warriors were led by Alex King who recorded a double-double, scoring a season high 28 points to go along with 10 rebounds. Alex was also 10 for 12 from the freethrow line.
Braden Trunkel also scored in double figures with 15 points and Hunter Hand added 14. Logan Matson provided a great defensive effort on the night.
The Warriors are now 7-1 on the season and will host the Granton Bulldogs on Thursday night at the Fieldhouse. You can hear the action live on 92.7 FM WPKG starting at 7:15 pm.
