Hockey And Figure Skating Starting Soon

Figure Skating Lessons and Learn-to-Skate Hockey style lessons will start Tuesday, Jan 9 at the O’Neill Ice Arena in Neillsville.Figure Skating Lessons will start Tuesday, Jan 9, at 6:00pm at the O’Neill Ice Arena in Neillsville. Additional time may be set for Thursdays as well.
Learn-to-Skate Hockey style lessons will also start Jan 9th at 6:30. (Future dates to be determined…)
Anyone 4 years old and up (even adults!) interested in learning how to skate are welcome to sign up. Cost will be $15, and will cover classes every week while we have ice! Must provide your own skates. (We do have a limited selection at the rink - ask about it when you sign up). Also, helmets are recommended (bike helmets work fine).
To sign up, either come to the rink on Jan 9th at 5:45 or contact Katie Jorgensen at 715-743-6965, or e-mail [email protected]. Include in the message: Hockey or Figure Skating, Name of parent, name of skater, age of skater, and contact information.
Anyone interested in helping with the classes can also contact Katie. The rink is across from the bus garage in Neillsville, on 14th Street past the Cemetery.
There is also time to sign up for hockey - players from age 5-8 (birth year 2009 and younger) New skaters ages 9-10 are also welcome to try out hockey. Practice days to be determined. Coached by local coaches and BRF high school hockey players!
