Boys T-Ball Awards Ceremony Held

The Neillsville Recreation Department held their annual T-Ball Awards Picnic on Monday, July 18th at the school softball diamonds.All boys who participated in the program received certificates. Teams and their honored players included:
Wolverines: Adam & Andrew Hoeser, Rory & Flynn Hanson, Caleb Bixby, Andrew Blum, John Anderson & Easton Johnson
Bulldogs: Jackson Hemp, Boden Opelt, Landin Slemec, Dayton Harder, Tim Beelman, Adrianna Nava, Brady Barth & Abram Balderas
Gators: Landon Rakestraw, Colton Hannasch, Liam King, Braeden Mortenson, Adrien Gomez, Carter Ward & Joey Kaufmann
Tigers: Rhett Lamovec, Rydge Tibbett, Cody Hart, Gabriel Sheikh, Marcus Luchterhand, Reegan Schoen & Shaylan Patel
Sun Devils: Hunter Schultz, Blake & Caden Haun, Sebastian O’Keefe, Skyler McDonald, Mikey Harris & Cody Drescher
The Neillsville Recreation Department would like to thank the volunteer coaches/instructors of the league, Larry Hoeser, Roscoe Lamovec, Jason Tibbett, Jesse Schultz, Lynn Harris, Josh Lewis, Adam Luchterhand & Josh Hemp. The1r dedication and expertise was very much appreciated. The Recreation Department would like to thank Cummins Inc. for purchasing new uniform jerseys for the players.
Following the ceremony ice cream and rootbeer, donated by A&W were enjoyed by all.
T-Ball is a baseball program for boys seven and eight years of age that stresses the fundamentals of the game with very little emphasis on winning and losing.
