Neillsville Girls Beat BRF For 11th Win Of Season

The Neillsville girls basketball team bounced back from a loss at Loyal last Friday to defeat Black River Falls 49-34 on Thursday night for their 11th win of the season.The first half was a close one until the end of the half when the Warriors pulled out to a 24-17 lead going into the locker room.
In the second half, Neillsville came out strong defensively and went on a 10-0 run to start the half to take a double digit lead that they would never relinquish. The Tigers were held scoreless for almost the first 5 1/2 minutes of the second half.
The Warriors had 3 players in double figures led by Morgan Hauge with 13 points, Dani Pfieffer had 11 and Mindy Schoengarth added 10.
Hailey Collins of Black River Falls led all scorers with 15 points.
