Neillsville Alumni In Action This Past Weekend

Several Neillsville alumni were in action in college sports over the weekend.....In college wrestling on Friday of last week, Phillip Opelt finished 3-0 on the day as Cornell College competed at the NWCA National Duals in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Rams finished 2-2 on the day in the 24 team Division III field.
In women's college basketball, UW-Milwaukee beat Cleveland St. on Saturday afternoon 62-46 and Jenny Linder came off the bench for the first time to score 14 points.
On Saturday night, UW-Eau Claire beat UW-LaCrosse 75-45. Alleah Voigt scored 4 points and grabbed 3 rebounds off the bench for the Blugolds.
