All Four Champions Repeat

The list of the 2015 champions is identical to last year's as all four Divisions feature repeat champions at the WIAA State Girls Volleyball Championships at the Resch Center in Green Bay.

Divine Savior Holy Angels (45-6) defended its title in Division 1 by outlasting Oconomowoc (31-4) in five sets 3-2. Divine Savior Holy Angels have won three State championships in eight State Tournament appearances. Oconomowoc finishes runner-up i
n its first-ever tournament appearance.

Catholic Memorial adds another gold trophy to its case by winning the Division 2 State title for the second staight season and for the fifth time in the last seven seasons. After dropping the first set, the Crusaders won the next three to defeat E
ast Troy 3-1. Catholic Memorial has won six State championships in its eight State Tournament appearances, and East Troy finishes runner-up in its third State appearance.

Waterloo (34-11) came back from a 2-1 deficit to capture its second straight Division 3 championship with a 3-2 win over Lake Country Lutheran (37-6) in the final. It's the first time a Division 3 champion was determined in a five-set match since
Oostburg defeated Spencer in 2011.

Newman Catholic (40-1) won its third consecutive Division 4 State girls volleyball championship with a 3-1 victory over Southwestern (27-2) in the final. It's the second straight season the Wildcats have finished runner-up to the Fighting Cardinal
s. Wausau Newman is the first team to win three straight titles since Catholic Memorial won three Division 2 titles in a row from 2009-11.
