Former Neillsville Football Coach's Funeral On Saturday

Former Neillsville football coach Brad Westphal passed away last Friday due to complications following a stroke. His funeral service will be tomorrow in Menasha.Brad began his teaching and coaching career in Mosinee, WI in 1984 and was named district "teacher of the year" in 1987.
In 1989 he accepted a teaching and head football coaching position in Neillsville, WI, where he was also actively involved in the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association. His teams were extremely successful, winning numerous conference championships.
In 2001 he returned to Menasha, his alma mater, taking a teaching and head football coaching position.
Brad coached in the Wisconsin All-Star Game in 1998, 2007, and 2012. He retired from coaching in 2013.
A celebration of Brad's life will be held from 4:00 PM ? 7:00 PM Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Nathan Calder Stadium, 619 12th Street, Menasha, WI. A special ceremony "kick off" will take place at 7:00 PM. In case of inclement weather, the celebration will be held at Menasha High School.
