Juniorette Softball Awards Ceremony Held

The Neillsville Recreation Department held their annual "Juniorette Awards Picnic" on Tuesday, July 14th at the school softball diamonds.All girls who participated in the program received certificates. Teams and their honored players included:
Irish: Miranda Mijal, Sella Anderson, Lexi Boyer, Ella King, Olivia Koprek, Laura Vine, Klarissa Canfield & Macci Elmhorst
Badgers: Victoria Ratsch, Jada Gurney, Paige Voigt, Lillyan Schutz, Kelly Boon, Tyla Uptergrove, Sydney Subke & Kylee Hamm
Jayhawks: Lilly Opelt, Gianna Kuhn, Avery McFarlane, Mackenzie Hediger, Shannon Ladd, Ava Miller, Shylah Walk,& Cali Moseid
Wildcats: Paris Opelt, Marie Jorgensen, Nataly Harris, Courtney & Sydney Magnuson, Abigail Koepp, Grace Biebert, Rachel Dux, & Bailey Walker
Sun Devils: Kennedy Wanish, Olivia Hahn, Amelia Holcomb, Baylee Zank, Olivia Langreck, McKendy Barth, Natalie Burkhalter, Devyn McDonald,& Ella Morgan
Hurricanes: Gracie Schoengarth, Sophie Hanson, Kenadi Urban, Braelyn Anding, Alisyn Anding, Danielle Schoolman, Emerson Ormond, & Karcyn Schmitz
Following the ceremony, ice cream and root beer, donated by A&W, were enjoyed by all.
Juniorette Softball is a program for girls 7-10 years of age that stresses the fundamentals of the game with very little emphasis on winning and losing. This years instructors/coaches included: Taylor Henchen, Allie Pfeiffer and Sammi Larrabee.
