Lindner Scores 6 In UW-Milwaukee Loss

Wednesday, November 19th, 2014 -- 10:32 AM

Freshman Jenny Lindner of Neillsville scored 6 points off the bench for UW-Milwaukee on Tuesday night in a 83-76 loss to North Dakota.

Jenny played 28 minutes in the game and was 2 for 6 from the field including 2 for 3 from 3 point land. She also finished with 4 rebounds.

3 Panthers scored in double figures led by Ashley Green's 30 points.

The Panthers (1-1) scored 50 points in a half for the first time in over seven years, only to see a complete reversal after halftime as North Dakota (1-1) went ahead with just over four minutes to play and fended off UWM from there.

Up next, the team heads back to Wisconsin and has the remainder of the week off to prepare for its home opener Saturday. UWM welcomes Bowling Green to the Klotsche Center for the rare 11 a.m. tip-off.
