UW-Stevens Point Advances To Regional Final

The sixth-ranked UW-Stevens Point volleyball team advanced to the St Paul Regional championship match for the second year in a row by sweeping Coe 3-0 in the second round of the regional on Friday evening at Schoenecker Arena.The Pointers (31-4) swept the Kohawks (29-9) for the second time this season to pick up their 19th consecutive win.
UW-Stevens Point will take on Cornell College in the St. Paul Regional championship match this evening at 7 p.m. at Schoenecker Arena, looking to win the regional for the second year in a row. The Rams defeated Northwestern (Minn.) in four sets in the other match on Friday and topped the Pointers 3-1 at the Cornell College Classic on Sept. 13.
