Newman And Southwestern In D4 Championship

Wausau Newman will look to defend their Division 4 State Title when they take on Southwestern in the D4 Girls Volleyball Championship on Saturday morning at the Resch Center In Green Bay.In a rematch of last years D4 championship, Newman downed Clayton 3-2 in a semi-final on Friday morning. Newman won the first set 25-15 and then lost the next two 20-25 and 22-25 before coming back to take the final two sets 25-20 and 15-8.
In the other D4 semi-final, Southwestern downed Hilbert in a see-saw match 3-2.
Newman (38-3) will now take on Southwestern (29-3) in the Division 4 State Championship on Saturday morning at 9 am at the Resch Center in Green Bay.
