Wisconsin Baseball Academy Features Neillsville Players

Sam Neville, Neal Matson and Nolan Matson of Neillsville have been playing with the Wisconsin Baseball Academy out of Wausau this summer.Eric Greening is the coach and owner. Right now the 18U Thunder Jaxx are 8-6-1 in 4 tournaments with a 2nd place finish 2 weeks ago in Kenosha. They played at the University of Minnesota in front of a handful of college coaches at the end of June and again this weekend at the Milwaukee Open in Mequon.
They will end the summer August 23-24 at the First Annual WIsconsin Baseball Academy Fall Classic in Wausau at Athletic Park. That tournament will consist of a 10u, 12u, 14u, and 18u age bracket. Neville, and the Matson brothers are part of the 18U team.
