Madison College Headed To Division II World Series

Freshman Wes Wuethrich of Greenwood is a right-handed pitcher for Madison College as they head to the NJCAA Div. II World Series in Oklahoma.

This will be Madison College's 5th consecutive World Series appearance their 11th overall. They finished 3rd in the nation last year.

Wuethrich was an eleven-time letter winner overall participating in three sports, and a four-year participant and four-time letter winner in both baseball and football for Greenwood High School. His team won a WIAA Div. 7 Football title in 2012 and a WIAA Div. 4 Baseball Championship in 2013. So far this year at Madison College, Wes has a record of 2-0 in 14 appearances. He has started 4 games and has an ERA of 2.56. In his 31 2/3 innings pitched, Wes has allowed 21 runs, 9 earned, he has given up 26 hits, struck out 39 and walked 24.

Madison College's first game at Enid, Oklahoma will be on Saturday when they take on Westchester Community College of New York.
