Millis Stepping Down At UW-Stevens Point

University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point head softball coach Jill Millis will step down as head coach of the Pointers after three seasons.Millis has accepted a full-time administrative role within the department for the 2014-15 academic year.
Millis, formerly Jill Janke, is a native of Black River Falls, she was a four-time letterwinner and all-conference performer at UW-Eau Claire where she won a national title her senior season. She went on to serve as an assistant coach at Eau Claire and Ithaca College (N.Y.) and was the head coach at Dakota County Technical College before joining UW-Stevens Point in June of 2011.
The search for a new head coach will begin immediately.
