The AP All-State Boys Basketball Teams Announced

The Associated Press All-State Boys Basketball Teams have been released...

Milwaukee Hamilton senior forward Kevon Looney has been named the Wisconsin Associated Press boys basketball player of the year. The UCLA recruit, a 6-foot-9 forward, averaged 27.9 points, 12.7 rebounds, seven assists and eight blocks per game and earned his second player of the year award in the City Conference. He also was named Mr. Basketball, which is given to the state's top senior by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association.

Kelly Appleby of Division 3 Champion Brown Deer was named Coach of the Year. The Falcons finished 23-5 and won the school's first state title.
