UW-Marshfield/Wood County Women Advance To State

The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County women?s basketball team advanced to the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference State Tournament with a 62-51 win over UW-Marinette on Wednesday night.The Marauders will play either UW-Rock County or UW-Marathon County on Saturday at the WCC State Tournament in Wisconsin Dells.
McKenzie Trunkel scored 22 points, Taylor Lynn had 14 points and nine assists, Rachel Herdrich chipped in with 10 points and Corina Craig had nine points and 12 rebounds for UW-Marshfield/Wood County.
