UW-Stevens Point Claims Share Of WIAC Championship

University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point claimed at least a share of the 2014 WIAC men's basketball championship with a 54-50 triumph over UW-River Falls on Saturday.The conference title for the Pointers is the 10th in the last 15 years and league-leading 28th in program history.
UW-Stevens Point owns a 13-1 record against WIAC opponents and can earn the title outright with one win in their remaining two games or a loss by UW-Whitewater (12-3) in its final contest.
