SB/Thorp/OW And Stratford In Team Sectionals

The Stanley-Boyd/Thorp/Owen-Withee and Stratford wrestling teams won their Regionals on Saturday and will participate in Team Sectionals on Tuesday.Stanley-Boyd/Thorp/Owen-Withee won the Neillsville/Greenwood/Loyal Regional while Stratford was the team champion at the Edgar Regional on Saturday.
Team Wrestling Sectionals ? Tuesday, Feb. 18th - Weigh-ins at 5 pm, Semifinals at 6pm, Finals at 8pm (may start earlier if both teams agree)
Division 2
At Ellsworth ? Amery, Ellsworth, Stanley-Boyd/Thorp/Owen-Withee and Rice Lake
Division 3
At Manawa ? Coleman, Crandon, Stratford and Menominee Indian
Eight teams in Division 1 and four teams in Divisions 2 and 3 advance to the State Team Tournament at the UW-Madison Field House. Pairings at the State Team Tournament will be determined by a numerical draw using pre-assigned sectional numbers.
The State Team Wrestling Championships will be March 7 and 8 at the UW Fieldhouse in Madison.
