Murphy Commits to UW Green Bay

Karly Murpy, a sophomore at River Falls and granddaughter of Diane Murphy of Neillsville, has given UW Green Bay a verbal commitment to play starting in the fall of 2016.The 6 foot 1 Murphy leads the Big Rivers in scoring at 15.5 points a game and in rebounding at 9.7 rebounds per game. She was an Honorable Mention Big Rivers player as a freshman.
Murphy told the Wissports.net that she didn't want to wait any longer to commit because she like the coaching style of UW Green Bay coach Kevin Borseth and the Phoenix have a winning tradition.
Karly has six double-doubles this season.
