WIAA Girls Golf Regionals Wednesday

Regionals will be held this Wednesday for teams from the Clover Valley Golf League.In Division 1, Marshfield, Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids are at the Stevens Point Regional. In Division 2, Stanley-Boyd is at the Cumberland Regional while Neillsville, Osseo-Fairchild and Regis are at the Sparta Regional on Wednesday.
The first four teams and top four individuals, who are not members of one of the top four teams, in each Regional qualify for one of nine sectionals (eight teams plus eight individuals) on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, October 7, 8 or 9.
The first two teams and top three individuals, who are not members of a qualifying team, in each sectional will participate in the State Tournament on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 14-15 at University Ridge, Madison.
There are 148 teams in the 2013 WIAA girls golf program.
