Leo Johnson officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church, on Friday, from 9am until time of service.  Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, in Marshfield, following the service.

Dolores Genevieve Quast was born on October 10, 1925 in Willard, WI, to Hugo J. and Genevieve A. (Bayuk) Quast.  Dolores attended Willard State Graded School and Hillsboro and Greenwood High Schools.  She graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Marshfield, WI and received a degree in nursing from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI.  Dolores was a member of the religious community Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother from 1945 to 1968, and took the name of Sister Callista.  During that time, she worked at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield in the operating room, and at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI.  Dolores left the convent in 1968 and moved to Racine, WI, where she taught nursing courses in Kenosha, Racine and at Milwaukee Area Technical College.

After retiring from nursing in 1976, she moved to Gresham, WI where she was the parish secretary/bookkeeper at St. Anthony Parish in Neopit, WI, on the Menomonee Indian Reservation.  Dolores retired in 2006 and continued to be active in volunteering and service work until she moved to Neillsville in the Fall of 2018.

She loved nature, walking her dog, cooking, reading, watching Packer games, and having fun with family and friends.

Dolores is survived by many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister, Mary, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Dolores' family would like to thank all who called, visited, or sent cards, prayers, or food.  She enjoyed them all.  Many thanks especially to the wonderful caregivers at Neillsville Retirement Community and St. Croix Hospice.

Memorials may be given in Dolores' name to a local food pantry, the Humane Society, or to St. Croix Hospice.
