Marchelle Brody

Marchelle Kay Brody, 49, of Neillsville passed away on July 11, 2022, at House of the Dove surrounded by the love of her family and friends. 

Marchelle was born January 13, 1973, to Arla Hainz in Neillsville, Wisconsin, where she was born and raised. She graduated from Neillsville High School in 1992. Marchelle married her husband, Chad, in 1995 and together had three children: Taran, Logan, and Kaylee. 

Marchelle is survived by her mother, Arla Hainz; her husband, Chad; three children Taran, Logan, and Kaylee; siblings Danny Hainz, Bart (Kelli) Hainz, Reyne (Jim) Copet, and Dave (Heather) Hainz; nieces and nephews Nicole, Drew, Kurtis, Lake, Antoine, Brittany, Brooke, Alex, Hailey, and Aleigha; many great-nieces and nephews; her aunt Dixie Kranz; and her best friend Denise Northup. 

She was preceded in death by her father Otto Hainz Jr.

Marchelle enjoyed working with the public, working at Marty’s Foods (and Gordy’s Market) for almost 20 years; and then working at Unity Bank until November 2021. Marchelle was known for her smile and her positive attitude regardless of what life brought her way.  She loved her immediate and extended family deeply and always enjoyed spending time with them.  Marchelle was a strong, courageous, and brave woman and is an inspiration to many. Marchelle was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend and will be deeply missed by family and friends. 

The family would like to thank Mayo Clinic and Marchelle’s oncologist, Dr. Basu, for their care, kindness, and compassion on her cancer journey. 

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 14th, 2022, and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 15th, 2022.  Pastor Joe Weiers will be officiating. Music will be provided by Wendell and Kathy Attoe, vocalists. A cemetery service and burial will follow at Neillsville City Cemetery. All services will be held at Gesche Funeral Home, 4 S Grand Avenue, Neillsville, WI 54456. A luncheon will be held at CART Center, 205 E 4th St, Neillsville, WI immediately following the cemetery service.
